Our Opportunity

Our Brand Communications Officer will work across all brand copywriting and marketing communications to achieve engagement and brand objectives.

Reporting into our Marketing Manager and working collaboratively with the marketing and wider team, you will support the development and execution of a comprehensive content and social strategy.

As a true brand ambassador for Sportsgirl, you will have a passion for fashion and demonstrate brand understanding which will resonate with our customers across all channels, ensuring the brand lens and tone of voice is carried through.  Additionally, your customer centric and collaborative approach will support you in building effective and lasting relationships internally and externally across a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Maintain the overarching brand marketing strategy, including positioning, tone of voice & messaging
  • In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, pursue strategic brand collaborations opportunities with partners, influencers, sponsors
  • In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, support brand communication strategy & plan
  • Plan and develop the key marketing stories for Sportsgirl's digital channels in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Social Media & Content Coordinator
  • Responsible for copywriting and Brand messaging/communication internally and externally
  • Brief all image requirements upfront to ensure all assets for digital channels are obtained at campaign, content, influencer & ecommerce shoots
  • Coordinate and brief feedback on artwork prior to seeking final approvals from key stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Relevant Short courses in Content & Digital across copywriting/content etc
  • Previous experience in similar role
  • Demonstrated Brand understanding
  • Customer centric and problem solving approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of social platforms and Knowledge of website content management systems
  • Windows OS + Microsoft Office Experience
