Partnerships & Engagement Coordinator
Make an impact where it matters most.
At Charlies Foundation for Research, we exist to make a very real difference, backing world-class medical research, cutting-edge treatments, and patient-focused projects at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals. Every gift, every partnership, every connection we nurture fuels discoveries that mean better care and better lives for West Australians.
We are unapologetically donor-first. Their generosity drives everything we do, and we make sure they feel it every step of the way.
We're a small but mighty team, who is creative, collaborative, and proudly punching above our weight. And, we're not slowing down. With bold new campaigns on the horizon and growing donor and partner communities to serve, we're looking for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, bring fresh energy, and grow with us.
That's where you come in.
About the role
We're on the lookout for a dynamic fundraiser or partnerships professional ready to take the next step in their career.
As our Partnerships & Engagement Coordinator, you'll:
- Build and nurture donor and partner relationships.
- Deliver meaningful stewardship that puts donors first.
- Help craft proposals, impact reports, and events that bring supporters closer to our cause.
- Keep projects moving with your brilliant organisation skills.
- Dive into data, insights, and donor journeys to make every touch point count.
This is a hands-on role with loads of variety. You'll work closely with our Fundraising & Partnerships Manager and collaborate with colleagues across comms, community fundraising, and hospital teams. And with the right person, this role will only grow.
About you
You're not just organised, you thrive on juggling multiple projects at once. You know how to write, talk, and connect in ways that make donors feel valued. You're curious, collaborative, and ambitious to do more.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in fundraising, partnerships, or donor engagement.
- Great project management and stakeholder skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication (bonus points for creativity).
- Confidence with CRM systems and data integrity.
- A donor-first mindset – always
- Commitment to professional standards, including adherence to the FIA Code
Why join us?
- Work with a passionate, supportive team who care about each other as much as the mission.
- Be part of a Foundation that's growing fast, with plenty of room to learn and step up.
- Strong commitment to professional development - we'll invest in your learning and help you stretch into your next career step.
- See the direct impact of your work in hospitals and research projects across WA.
- Competitive salary, plus salary packaging options and flexible work arrangements.
