**The Opportunity**

Join our End Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Program, here at the The Kids, that is seeking a confident project coordinator to support our Director of First Nations Strategy and Leadership in his role as Program Head for the END RHD Program.
The END RHD program has an ambitious goal to end RHD in Australia by 2031 through a comprehensive research program and bringing together community, researchers, practitioners & funders. The program focuses on Indigenous leadership to guide, support and drive research that is culturally appropriate and inclusive, and to make a meaningful and important impact on the communities we work alongside.
No two days will be the same in this role, so strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach will be key to your success.
Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Program Head in program and project related activities including engagement with stakeholders and people with lived experience of RHD, communications, and reporting.
- Maintaining END RHD program records e.g. stakeholder lists, resources etc.
- Assisting in the preparation of meeting agendas, presentations, workshops, seminars and training.
- Providing diary management and travel management support.
This position will be based at The Kids Research Institute Australia in Nedlands, WA and will be offered on a full-time basis, with part-time (4 days per week) hours considered, for a 2-year contract with potential to extend.

- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience in providing high-level coordination support to a senior leader.
- Demonstrated capacity to support and liaise with diverse teams and across multiple complex projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and community groups.
