About the role:
The Senior Lived Experience Sector Partnerships Officer will drive a diverse range of activities related to policy and program development, project management and stakeholder engagement to advance the lived and living experience workforce disciplines in the mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) sectors. Drawing on the principles of co-production, the successful applicant will work as part of a team and collaborate with sector partners to deliver a range of lived and living experience workforce initiatives. They will have a key role in establishing and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders and identifying and coordinating expert advice.
This is a designated lived experience role requiring lived experience as a family member, carer, supporter or kin of someone with mental health challenges and a willingness to develop this into lived experience expertise aligning with the Mental Health Family Carer Lived Experience Workforce Discipline Framework

About us:
The Collaborative Centre plays a central role in system transformation and over the next three years, we will prioritise translational research and systemwide workforce training and capability development, particularly for the Lived and Living Experience workforce.
Through our existing partnerships with clinical, academic and lived experience organisations we will produce and amplify research informed by Lived and Living Experience and translate the outcomes of that research into new and innovative models of care for better mental health and wellbeing outcomes for all Victorians.
