Our IT Systems Analyst is responsible for developing strategies for design, development, testing, implementation, backup and disaster recovery, and production usage for both hardware and software application platforms for DEQ mission-critical applications.
In This Role, You'll
- Craft the future of environmental technology: Design, develop, and implement mission-critical software and hardware applications.
- Leverage your skills in a combination of the following areas: SQL queries and data reporting, Python, .NET, REST APIs, ServiceNow (AppEngine, Forms & Reports), Web Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript), UI/UX, and Moodle Administration, Oracle database administration, and GitLab.
- Become a security champion: Ensure application and database security standards are upheld and implemented.
- Deliver solutions that matter: Create software solutions for diverse needs across end-user, mid-tier, and web-based systems.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment: Collaborate with a supportive and fun team in a DevOps-focused setting using the Scaled-Agile framework.

The IT Systems Analyst position includes a career ladder for professional development and pay progression.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with an emphasis on information technology and/or software application engineering. Relevant Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Four (4) years job-related experience in software applications engineering or other closely related field of work.
Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
