Test Analyst

Test Analyst | Large Organisation | Exciting ICT initiatives

Must be based in Adelaide | Hybrid – 2 days in office / 3 days WFH

$90/hour | 6 month contract + Likely rolling extensions

As the Test Analyst you will be working on a range of ICT led initiatives that the organisation is currently undertaking. You will need to be a self-starter who has a passion for quality solutions. You will need to be a collaborative, team player who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Duties

- Develop test plans and test cases to undertake testing on nominated applications. Includes System Integration, Functional & Regression testing to ensure quality assured outcomes are deployed.
- Perform initial investigation into any defects found during various stages of testing and prepare findings in a way to assist development or applications team isolate bugs.
- Review test cases written by peers for minor & standard changes to ensure that all the requirements, functional specifications and non-functional specifications are covered in the test cases.
- Work with team to roll out testing skillset within broader Business Systems team including aligning to common testing strategy using templates and automated testing tools.
- Maintain and execute code base for automated test cases.
- Provide ad-hoc testing support for critical projects on an as-needs basis.
- Ensure test documentation and reports are maintained at all times.
- Work with core application SME’s to furnish release notes with production deployments.

Key Experience

- Minimum of 5 years in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Minimum of ISTQB Foundation Certificate preferred.
- ITIL Certification preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing or shipbuilding industry.
- Prior experience with automated testing tools.

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
