IT Support Engineer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated
IT Support Engineer
to join a dynamic and growing organisation. In this hands-on role, you will provide day-to-day IT support across infrastructure, networks, systems, and end-users, ensuring reliable, secure, and accessible technology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    first-level support
    for IT service requests, incidents, and enquiries.
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and conferencing tools.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding by preparing IT equipment and accounts.
  • Monitor and maintain servers, storage, and virtual/physical systems, including updates, patching, and backups.
  • Assist with
    network and security support
    , including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, logs, and support records.
  • Ensure compliance with IT controls and assist with audits (SOX ITGC experience desirable).
  • Work closely with the IT team to deliver reliable and continuous service improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in an IT
    support/desktop/infrastructure engineer
    role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across
    hardware, software, and networks
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Windows environments
    , Active Directory, Office 365, and common business applications.
  • Familiarity with
    network fundamentals
    (firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs).
  • Awareness of
    IT security practices
    and endpoint protection.
  • Exposure to compliance or audit frameworks (SOX ITGC a plus).
  • Excellent communication and a
    customer-first mindset
    .
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a focus on integrity and continuous learning.
