The Company

Our client is a global leader in the resources sector, providing essential products and services that help communities thrive. With operations spanning multiple countries, their focus is on driving innovation and sustainability while enabling regional teams to operate efficiently and securely.

The IT division plays a critical role in supporting this mission, delivering enterprise-scale solutions that connect diverse business units across the globe. Due to major ongoing projects, they are seeking a Senior Network Engineer (DDI Specialist) Contractor to join their team.

The Role

As a Network Engineer (DDI) Contractor, you will report directly to the Manager of Network & Telecom and be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure across global operations.

  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and conduct regular audits.
  • Collaborate with IT teams globally to integrate DDI solutions with other network services.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and policies, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Provide technical support to IT staff regarding DDI operations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance network performance and adopt new technologies.

The Person

  • 3–5 years' experience working with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions, including migrations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tools such as Infoblox, BlueCat, BIND, Microsoft DNS, and ISC/Microsoft DHCP.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and monitoring (e.g., Splunk, Wireshark).
  • Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and regions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and transfer knowledge effectively.
  • Flexible to work across multiple time zones and manage competing priorities under pressure.
