: SD-WAN & Network Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SD-WAN & Network Automation Engineer with deep technical expertise in designing, implementing, and managing SD-WAN solutions. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience with Ansible for network automation and a solid foundation in networking protocols and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage SD-WAN solutions across enterprise environments using technologies such as Cisco Viptela, Versa, or VMware VeloCloud.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate network configurations, provisioning, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate with network architects and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline network operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in SD-WAN and hybrid environments.
  • Document network configurations, automation processes, and best practices to support operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL standards for change management, incident management, and configuration management.

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Versa, VMware VeloCloud, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Ansible for network automation and orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
  • Strong networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and WAN optimization.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and monitoring tasks.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
