We are seeking a highly skilled
Investment Manager

with deep expertise in
environmental investing

, primarily focused on renewable energy projects, to strengthen our team. This role is pivotal in identifying and capitalising on sustainable investment opportunities, leveraging key industry contacts, and ensuring we stay ahead in this specialised space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of assets in accordance with the investment objectives and strategy.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in the
    environmental investing

sector.
- Conduct thorough
due diligence, market research, and financial analysis

to support investment decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, ensuring access to
exclusive investment opportunities

.
- Build an investment team to manage a portfolio of assets as funds under management grow.
- Stay ahead of
emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes

in the environmental investment space.
- Contribute to the acquisition of funds under management including presenting to potential clients.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

The role will include the opportunity to contribute to the investment objectives, strategy and process. An indicative asset allocation is shown below.

Renewable energy generation and storage - 50%

Innovative carbon reducing technology - 20%

Carbon abatement projects - 15%

Carbon credits / ETS - 5%

Cash - 10%

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in
    environmental investing

, with a track record of
successful deal origination and execution

.
- Strong network within the
sustainable investing, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors

.
- Deep understanding of
financial modelling, valuation, and risk assessment

in this niche.
- Ability to translate complex environmental investment themes into
actionable investment strategies

.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a
keen eye for high-potential opportunities

.
- CFA, CAIA, or similar qualifications are preferred but not essential.

Compensation & Structure

This is an opportunity to join a future focused business right from the outset and help to build it. The successful applicant will play an important role in securing seed capital and in recognition of this a generous equity stake will be offered as part of the package.

Cash salary will be deferred until the initial capital raising goal is achieved. Following this a competitive base salary will commence, with performance-based bonuses tied to investment objectives.
