Executive Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Executive Coordinator to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to senior executives within a fast-paced government agency. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for an organised professional who thrives in high-pressure environments and can manage competing priorities with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level support to senior leaders, including diary and schedule management.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel, preparing agendas, documentation, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Prioritise and manage critical or sensitive issues to ensure timely resolution of business matters.
  • Draft and format confidential correspondence, briefing notes, and reports to required standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing competing deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Take initiative to identify and resolve gaps in processes, ensuring the executive office runs smoothly.

About You

  • Proven experience providing executive support to senior leaders in government or corporate settings.
  • Strong knowledge of government protocols, policies, and administration processes (highly regarded).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and records management systems.
  • Able to exercise sound judgement, manage sensitive information, and meet strict deadlines.
