Business Analyst - CMS Project


6-month contract | Hybrid (Melbourne-based)

We're looking for a
Mid-Senior level Business Analyst
to help shape the next phase of a
Case Management System (CMS) implementation
.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on bringing structure and clarity to complex systems and wants to see their work make a tangible impact.

You'll collaborate with project, data, and operational teams to understand how things work today and define what's needed for a more effective tomorrow.

What you'll do

  • Analyse and map
    current workflows
    across residential and clinical services.
  • Identify and document
    data capture and reporting requirements
    for compliance, funding, and regulatory needs.
  • Define and prioritise
    MVP business requirements
    for the new CMS.
  • Facilitate
    stakeholder interviews and workshops
    to validate and refine your findings.
  • Deliver clear, visual, and practical documentation process maps, data requirements, and final recommendations.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience as a
    Business Analyst
    (mid-senior level), ideally in the
    human services, community, or NFP sector
    .
  • Strong
    process mapping and documentation skills
    (BPMN, Lucidchart, Visio, etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    case management systems
    and
    data compliance frameworks
    .
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills you're comfortable translating between technical and operational teams.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset and a knack for simplifying complexity.
