Production and Operations Manager

We are Canberra's leading waste and recycling facility.
We operate a purpose built, in-door recycling facility, receiving over 100 trucks and processing over 500T per day.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Production/Operations Manager to oversee day to day operations of the facility.
Within this position you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and managing a dedicated and committed recycling team.
- Managing and monitoring daily incoming waste to agreed targets and volumes.
- Reviewing, developing and enhancing company recycling capabilities, implement new systems and procedures to increase recycling and efficiencies.
- Oversee, manage and assume responsibility for the site safety, employee training and supervision.
- Manage a large fleet of company owned walking floor trailers and coordinate sub-contractors to transport waste from the facility.
- Manage servicing, repairs and routine inspections of recycling equipment and heavy plant.
- Management and maintenance of site facilities and infrastructure.
- Licence compliance and statutory reporting.
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
In addition to an attractive salary, the position will be offered a monthly and annual bonus upon successful delivery of agreed KPI's.
In addition to this the position will be offered company fuel card and uniform.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and driven individual looking to further contribute to our team and company.
