We are Canberra's leading waste and recycling facility.

We operate a purpose built, in-door recycling facility, receiving over 100 trucks and processing over 500T per day.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production/Operations Manager to oversee day to day operations of the facility.

Within this position you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and managing a dedicated and committed recycling team.
  • Managing and monitoring daily incoming waste to agreed targets and volumes.
  • Reviewing, developing and enhancing company recycling capabilities, implement new systems and procedures to increase recycling and efficiencies.
  • Oversee, manage and assume responsibility for the site safety, employee training and supervision.
  • Manage a large fleet of company owned walking floor trailers and coordinate sub-contractors to transport waste from the facility.
  • Manage servicing, repairs and routine inspections of recycling equipment and heavy plant.
  • Management and maintenance of site facilities and infrastructure.
  • Licence compliance and statutory reporting.

This position reports directly to the General Manager.

In addition to an attractive salary, the position will be offered a monthly and annual bonus upon successful delivery of agreed KPI's.

In addition to this the position will be offered company fuel card and uniform.
