About the role

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and drive excellence across our solar, electrical, and air conditioning divisions. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage project delivery, optimise resources, and ensure every job is completed to the highest standards.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage teams across multiple sites (leading hands/installers/apprentices)
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects for timely, cost-efficient delivery
  • Ensure strict quality control, safety compliance, and industry best practices
  • Oversee budgets, procurement, and resource management
  • Implement process improvements that boost efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Mentor, train, and develop staff to create a high-performing team
  • Report on operational performance, KPIs, and financial outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in solar, electrical, HVAC or similar
  • Technical knowledge of solar, electrical and/or HVAC systems (licences/CEC accreditation highly regarded)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience in project management, scheduling, and cost control
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Work well under pressure
