Our client is a leading law firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join their Sydney-based finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with leading partners in a close-knit and collaborative environment where your contribution will be visible and valued.

The role

This role involves a strong focus on acquisition finance, general corporate lending, and real estate finance. You'll be working on complex, high-value transactions and expected to take a lead role in matters with a high degree of autonomy. You'll also be involved in the ongoing growth and development of the local finance practice, offering genuine scope for career progression.

The firm has a flat structure, a strong emphasis on mentorship and development, and a collaborative culture that avoids working in silos. Their values are built around professionalism, inclusion, and client service excellence.

About you

The ideal candidate will have 2-5yrs PAE, be proactive, commercially minded, and technically strong. You will thrive working independently but also enjoy being part of a collegiate team environment. A hands-on, pragmatic approach and a high level of attention to detail are essential, along with strong communication and drafting skills.
