We are partnering with a prominent law firm in Sydney to recruit a passionate and driven Associate/Senior Associate to join their class action and personal injury team.

This is a full-time role for a lawyer with 3+ years PAE who is looking to develop a long-term and meaningful career within a supportive, well-established practice.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a caseload of class action and personal injury files
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, and settlement agreements
  • Providing clear and empathetic legal advice to clients
  • Attending court hearings, mediations, and client meetings
  • Conducting legal research to support complex matters
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes for clients

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years PAE with exposure to class action or personal injury work
  • Strong drafting and legal writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in sensitive or high-stakes situations
  • Organised and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Compassionate, client-focused, and eager to learn
  • A proactive, professional, and adaptable team player
