A modern, market-leading property and construction team is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Sydney office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of real estate matters across high-quality clients, with a team that values collaboration, professional growth, and excellence.

The Team

You will join a dynamic Real Estate team with a strong pipeline of diverse and interesting transactional work. The team operates in a collaborative, supportive environment, offering exposure to partners and senior practitioners, while providing opportunities to mentor junior lawyers and develop your own client portfolio.

Position Description

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage a range of transactional property and leasing matters, providing practical and commercially astute legal advice
  • Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding and managing their expectations
  • Draft complex property documentation with precision and clarity
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and help grow the practice

About You

  • 7-8 years post-admission legal experience, including 2-3 years at Senior Associate level
  • Strong transactional property and/or leasing background, with at least 3 years' experience in NSW jurisdiction
  • Commercially minded, with a practical approach to problem-solving and client management
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment
