Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Sydney. The territory covers a portfolio of State Government customers across NSW, working on impactful projects involving AI, data, analytics, cloud and IT modernisation. You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision makers, working with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, adaptable, articulate, passionate about creating great customer outcomes, and have an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key job responsibilities
- Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
- Utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes
- Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
- Challenge outdated approaches to IT
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions to customers
- Analyze sales metrics/data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy
- Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
- Build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy
- Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
- Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
- Develop long-term strategic C-level relationships with key accounts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
