Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Literacy Specialist located in the Greater Sydney Area. The Literacy Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing literacy curriculums, supporting teachers, and supporting students' literacy development. Day-to-day tasks include implementing inclusive lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to diverse learning needs coordinator and students to enhance literacy outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Literacy and Education
  • Experience in Curriculum Development
  • Coaching and Writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
  • Experience in a high school setting is essential
