ARC Assessing are looking for a Specialist Equipment Assessor to join our team, based in Sydney.

We are seeking someone with the below skill set to be successful in the role.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Qualified mechanical experience in at least one of the following: Earthmoving, mining, civil, and/or heavy transport equipment, agricultural.
  • Leadership and customer facing experience
  • Comprehensive computer literacy

Duties & Key Accountabilities:

  • Completion of onsite assessments at relevant locations within the state, or beyond on occasion, as required
  • As directed, conduct within a timely manner all on road or desktop motor, machinery & plant loss assessments
  • Prepare and submit factually correct repair and total loss reports in compliance with company reporting criteria
  • Liaise with machinery repairers, machinery owners and insurance companies and/or their representatives, as required
  • Develop professional relationships with vehicle repairers throughout the region
  • Conduct follow ups, including re-inspections, as required
  • Coordinate daily activities with the Operations Manager & administration team
  • Demonstrate leadership by self-management, punctuality, communication, and working with all stake holders both internal and external to achieve a sustainable business
  • Always offer independent & professional advice
