Job Description
ZIMMERMANN
is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Allocator to join our Planning team based at our Head Office in Sydney.
In this role, you will manage product allocations across our Australian retail network, ensuring the right product reaches the right store at the right time. You will leverage data analysis and commercial insight to optimise stock distribution, support seasonal launches, and drive sales performance while minimising risk. Working closely with Planning, Buying, Logistics, and Retail teams, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional outcomes and supporting our global growth strategy.
Job Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with allocation or inventory systems (AP21 or similar preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high standards.
Job Responsibilities
As an Allocator, your responsibilities will include:
- Execute accurate and timely
store allocations
aligned with planning strategy, budgets, and VM considerations. - Use
sales analysis and commercial insight
to allocate the right product, quantity, and size ratios for each store. - Manage
in-season replenishment
, inter-store transfers, recuts, rest & removals, and end-of-season recalls. - Collaborate with
Logistics, 3PL, Merchandising, Buying, and Planning
to ensure timely deliveries and inventory flow. - Execute
stock transfer strategies
(full price and markdown), build new store stock packages, and coordinate QC checks and recalls. - Analyse
sales and size data
to inform future size curves, optimise stock movement, and prepare ad hoc reports. - Maintain
accurate data
, act as primary contact for store queries, and provide support through store visits and cross-functional collaboration.
