The Opportunity

An established Australian technology consultancy is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design and implement secure, scalable environments for government, defence, finance, and enterprise clients.

This Sydney-based hybrid position offers the chance to work across major state-level projects, delivering impact that reaches across NSW and beyond.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Architect multi-cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and hybrid platforms.
  • Build automation and infrastructure consistency using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
  • Enhance delivery pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Implement Zero Trust security practices and compliance frameworks including Essential Eight, IRAP, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
  • Drive high-value transformation programs from planning through execution.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and governance uplift.
  • Apply FinOps strategies to optimise cost efficiency at scale.

What You'll Bring

  • More than 10 years' experience delivering enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
  • Depth across Azure and AWS services, networking, and identity management.
  • Strong grounding in compliance and governance within regulated sectors.
  • Proven track record with DevOps and automation toolsets.
  • Clear and confident communication with stakeholders and clients.
  • Recognised certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Current Baseline Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain.
