IPH Limited currently have a 6-month fixed term opportunity for an Infrastructure Specialist
to join our Australia New Zealand (ANZ) Information Technology team of experts. This hybrid-working opportunity can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Wellington or Auckland.
As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will play an integral role within our ANZ region by supporting 3rd level BAU operations for all IPH Firm's IT infrastructure and networks. The role involves collaborating with Infrastructure and Service Desk teams in support, documentation and implementation of all technologies and projects encompassing all IPH Technology systems, offices, M365, data centers & cloud environments across the region.
Now is an exciting time to get involved in a wide variety of interesting projects and cutting-edge developments, working alongside an experienced and highly collaboratively IT team.
Responsibilities include
- Strong knowledge of M365 applications & MS Operating Systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 3 issues with all firm's IT infrastructure Data centers, servers, networks, storage, and cloud services)
- Administration of Active Directory DNS, Group Policy, SharePoint, WSUS, Intune
- Experience with industry standard backup and replication products
- Manage and resolve all critical incidents within SLA's and provide incident reports
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity plan for all firms
- Oversee all servers and infrastructure and ensure they are regularly patched and updated
- Proactively monitor health & performance of IPH's IT infrastructure environment
- Investigate and recommend improvements to central and remote IT infrastructure
- Keep up with new trends and products in the constantly evolving IT industry
- Ensure all designs, IT assets and processes are documented
- Remediation of issues raised by Vulnerability Management solution.
Projects & Change Management:
- Assist with the implementation of strategic IT projects across all firms
- Work on handovers from project to BAU support
- Attend Change Board meetings to represent technical infrastructure changes
Security & Risk:
- Support measures to protect IT against cybersecurity threats / breaches
- Actively participate in annual audit requirement for IT processes and infrastructure
About You
- Tertiary or professional qualification in IT/Computer Science. ITIL
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong virtualization & storage skills
- Experience with Microsoft products including SharePoint, Exchange, Entra, Intune, Office products
- Experience with Cloud solutions
- Familiarity with Firewall administration, including software and firmware upgrades
- Technical skills with ability to troubleshoot Level 3 technical problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team engagement, customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrates a focus on quality documentation and continuous improvement.
- Project management experience with proven ability to deliver on deadlines.
- Troubleshoot problems and find solutions.
- Scripting skills an advantage
- Experience managing Data backup and recovery solutions.
