ORIX Australia is seeking a hands-on
Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer
to be the technical backbone of a high-performing team driving the company's Azure migration and infrastructure transformation.

This role is the
final escalation point
for complex issues — the person the team trusts when things get tricky — while also leading delivery on key cloud and security projects including ORIX's
data centre exit and Azure migration
.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as senior escalation for BAU infrastructure incidents across servers, cloud, and endpoints.
  • Lead core Azure projects — migrations, upgrades, policy rollouts, system refreshes.
  • Maintain patching, compliance, and monitoring to keep systems secure and stable.
  • Deploy and manage endpoint tools (Intune, Autopilot, Windows 11, GPO).
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support backup and DR environments and contribute to security incident response.
  • Document systems and configurations; contribute to automation and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience across Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Server.
  • Sound knowledge of Azure services (VMs, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), networking, and security.
  • Exposure to Hyper-V and VMware environments.
  • Experience with patch, vulnerability, and backup tools (WSUS, Azure Update Manager, Veeam, Qualys).
  • Strong understanding of firewall and network technologies (Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki).
  • Clear communication skills — able to collaborate, advise, and deliver under pressure.
  • A hands-on problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments.
