Role overview

Fly2 Foundation offers free transportation for vulnerable people requiring medical

appointments in WA. This newly created role at Fly2Foundation of an Executive Support

Officer (ESO) will support propelling our charity to assist more people in regional and remote

WA. The role will have broad administrative and coordination responsibilities relating to

board support, flight candidate support, governance, marketing and fundraising. The role

will be a combination of remote work and in-person attendance where required (locations:

Jandakot and Perth city). This role will suit someone who is able to work flexibly.

Fly2Foundation Board Chairperson/Board

Duties and responsibilities

ESO duties will include (but not necessarily be limited to):

● Marketing – develop social media collateral and manage various media channels and

in doing so play a first-hand role in building the online presence of the Foundation's

brand

● Board of Directors - Assisting directors with day to day activities, including preparing

materials for and attendance at monthly board meetings, drafting minutes,

co-ordinating follow up actions and communications

● Flight Candidates – develop and manage a database of potential flight candidates,

involving marketing to and initial screening of candidates for flights, , supporting

logistics and working with the operations team to deliver safe, compliant

transportation

● Governance Support - assisting with ACNC and board compliance

● Fundraising – support the directors coordinating direct fundraising initiatives

● Event and media management support when required

● Organising and managing the Foundation's information securely.

Skills, qualifications and experience required

● Working with children's check

● HTLAID011 Provide First Aid

● National police clearance

● Strong attention to detail

● Proven experience in administration and organisation

● Strong verbal and written communication skills

● High level of proficiency across Microsoft Office suite of programs

● Marketing and social media experience

● Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
