Customer Service Officer

Our Cairns branch is looking for a proactive individual to be at the front line of our business. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will manage the day-to-day with customers and clients, guaranteeing exceptional support and services.

Your duties will include the following but are not limited to:

•     Providing face-to-face, email-based, and over-the-phone type of customer service
•     Providing quotes, pricing, and responding to general queries of customers
•     Processing and completing purchase orders
•     Performing general administrative work and assisting in ad hoc activities – warehousing, dispatch, and inventories.

This is a permanent full-time role with a great working culture

Working hours approximately 8.30am to 4.30pm.

About your experience
It's important that you are adaptable, have strong problem-solving skills and have a customer-focused mindset. You will be goal-orientated and is able to build and maintain effective customer relationships.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

•     Has experience in a similar phone-based/in-person customer service role
•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•     Good computer skills or the ability to learn new systems quickly
•     Background or exposure to the construction, manufacturing, or steel industry is highly regarded
•     A can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop your skillset
