About the role:

As an Account Executive you will be responsible for creating, qualifying, developing, and selling IT solutions into Networks and IT infrastructure managers. With a consultative sales approach, you will lead with business value and engage both new and existing clients. 

You'll be supported by a strong team of pre-sales solution consultants as you take ownership of your own territory. You'll work closely with a mix of large and mid-sized clients, offering them a powerful portfolio of both SaaS and on-premises software solutions.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Territory & Client Management
  • Manage a defined territory with a focus on large and mid-sized clients.
  • Engage primarily with Networks and IT infrastructure managers.
  • Navigate complex customer environments, including legacy systems.
  • Sales Execution
  • Drive business development through long sales cycles (typically 12–18 months).
  • Manage deal sizes ranging from $250K to $1M, involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Execute a solution-focused, outcome-based sales strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers (CIO-level and above).
  • Act as a trusted advisor by clearly communicating business value and aligning solutions with client needs.
  • Collaboration & Internal Process
  • Work effectively across cross-functional teams and with external partners.
  • Maintain disciplined use of sales processes and tools (e.g. Salesforce), adhering to regular reporting and cadence.

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven success selling into IT infrastructure and network environments, not just traditional software.
  • Preferred background in licensing, transformation, or IT consulting—especially standout performers.
  • Experience with SaaS and on-premises solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability in long-cycle sales and complex deal navigation.
  • Strong discovery, account mapping, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Comfortable in varied customer environments, including legacy systems.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently and credibly.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a focus on articulating business outcomes.
  • Customer-first mindset, emphasizing value over product features.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to internal and partner relationships.
  • Strong discipline in CRM usage and structured sales processes.
  • Solid grasp of the IT and cloud infrastructure landscape.
  • ITOM knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
