Sahib Transport is a trusted national provider of Transport and Logistics services, operating across both local and interstate networks throughout Australia. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Supervisor to lead our night operations at our Truganina depot. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth coordination of overnight transport operations and maintaining service excellence across our 24/7 network.

This is a permanent opportunity on the night shift, operating Monday - Friday from 9pm to 6am. As part of a 24/7 operation, flexibility in working hours and availability during peak periods is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overnight transport workflows, focusing on dispatch accuracy and real-time tracking of fleet movements.
  • Maintain an accurate Linehaul schedule by incorporating any operational changes or unforeseen delays.
  • Manage breakdown response and Optimize available resources to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers, providing accurate ETAs and timely updates.
  • Coordinate next-day load assignments and dispatch planning to support smooth morning operations.
  • Uphold safety, compliance, and company standards at all times.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 2 years' experience in Transport Management / Operations
  • Understanding of compliance (Fatigue Management, COR) – or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to allocate work within time constraints without compromising safety and compliance requirements
  • Clear knowledge of major local and interstate routes ensuring efficient navigation
  • Heavy Vehicle literacy and familiar with Industry standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a quick ability to learn new systems.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a safety-first mindset.
  • Basic understanding of truck and trailer maintenance practices, sufficient to liaise effectively with workshop staff.
