About the Role

The Control Room Supervisor oversees security operations at the client's Data Center, monitoring systems, dispatching personnel, and maintaining accurate reports. The role ensures compliance with SOPs, covers all posts, escalates incidents, and identifies improvements to enhance security and safety.

Positions available are located in Truganina, VIC

Please note - We have 4 positions available for below roles 2 for the day shift and 2 for night shift.

Permanent Day Shifts -   Between Monday-Sunday -6AM to 6 PM - $56 per hour -7 shifts a fortnight

Permanent Night Shifts - Between Monday-Sunday - 6PM to 6AM -$58 per hour  -7 shifts a fortnight

The Control Room Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Monitors physical security operations at the client Datacenter
  • Monitors cameras and access control systems covering data calls and entry/exit doors
  • Dispatches appropriate personnel, as necessary
  • Maintains logs and records in accordance with the Datacenter Standard Operations Procedure (SOP)
  • Identifies and escalates issues in accordance with documented policies and procedures
  • Reviews all reports written during shift
  • Ensures all scheduled posts are filled
  • Briefs oncoming CRS about incidents during shift or in progress
  • Maintains documentation and follows standardized procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits
  • Collects complete information for detailed report and appropriate follow-up. Prepares well written reports and maintains strict distribution to "need to know" parties
  • Prepares written and electronic logs and reports as required for the site while entering information in appropriate computer systems
  • Read and comprehends standard operations procedures, post orders, reports, and other printed materials
  • Performs additional tasks assigned by management
  • Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program
  • Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility
  • Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify supervisor upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions

Minimum Hiring Standards:

  • Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must hold and maintain NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance
  • Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private)
  • Must have the legal right to work in Australia
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment process

  • Keyboarding, intermediate computer usage and operating control
  • Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
  • On occasion may be required to perform stressful and physical activity
  • Depending upon assignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices
