About the role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Field Leader to manage and support our Metering & Servicing field operations.This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of field activities in alignment with Omexom's standards and client expectations. You will be the key link between field crews, technical teams, and stakeholders, providing real-time support, and managing daily operations.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities:

· Leading and coordinating daily field crew operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

· Providing on-the-spot technical support and resolving field issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

· Promoting a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, audits, and compliance with safety protocols.

· Monitoring crew performance and quality of work to meet productivity and contract KPIs.

· Managing resources, including vehicles, equipment, and materials, to ensure operational readiness.

· Supporting team wellbeing by identifying early signs of fatigue, stress, or other concerns.

· Handling documentation, including pre-starts, timesheets, and quality assurance records.

· Mentoring and training team members to build capability and maintain high standards.

What you will bring to the team:

· Proven leadership experience in field operations, ideally within the utilities or infrastructure sector.

· Strong technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and guide crews in real-time.

· A proactive approach to safety, with a deep understanding of OHS regulations and safe work practices.

· Excellent communication skills to engage with field staff, clients, and stakeholders effectively.

· High attention to detail in planning, auditing, and reporting tasks.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities, from crew allocations to depot logistics, with a focus on continuous improvement.
