**The role**:
Due to an internal promotion, we are searching for our next Operative Team Leader You’ll be responsible for managing 15 Field Operatives who provide a range of cleaning and maintenance services on oOh’s Street Furniture assets (bus shelters) and also carry out installation of advertising posters on the shelters and Retail assets.

In this varied role you will be tasked with providing leadership and training to the team, overseeing workforce planning and schedules, ensuring quality assurance for workmanship and tasks completed, plus managing the fleet and equipment maintenance.

Based out of our depot in Port Melbourne, no two days will be the same and you’ll work across a range of tasks as follows:

- Lead a team of Operatives to provide routine cleaning & maintenance in accordance with agreed service levels.
- Manage recruitment activities, inductions, provide ongoing training and coaching plus manage performance and salary review processes.
- Drive efficiencies within each run by effectively managing Workforce Planning in collaboration with the Workforce Planner (rostering, scheduling, data analysis and reporting)
- Ensure Quality Assurance by conducting field audits (fleet and equipment management - monthly vehicle checks (ensure standard is met), trouble shoot issues/failures/repairs

**The experience**:
As an experienced leader with proven success leading teams of 10+ in the field (courier/delivery drivers, fleet managers etc), you’ll be confident in all elements of people leadership. This role also requires a flexible, self-starter who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to assist the team during busy periods, or attend to emergencies in the field at short notice. You will also:

- Have excellent problem solving ability, can think on your feet to resolve a variety of issues (would suit a handyman who enjoys tinkering or with knowledge of vehicles - use of power tools an advantage)
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to guide and influence outcomes.
- A tech savvy nature, experience adhering to and guiding compliance with WHS policies are also key to this role.
- Full, clean MANUAL Australian Drivers Licence.
- You must also pass a pre-employment Drug & alcohol check, licence check and reference checks.
