About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. You will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes and community settings, helping them to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support including showering, dressing, and grooming
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and household tasks
- Support clients to participate in community, social, and recreational activities
- Implement individualised support plans and follow client care documentation
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice in all interactions
- Administer medication (where applicable and trained)
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes in client wellbeing
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment at all times
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent (desirable)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (with comprehensive insurance preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disability
