Disability Support Worker – Community Access

Location: Rockingham and Canning Vale

Employment Type: Casual

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a client with a disability in accessing the community and engaging in meaningful social and recreational activities. The role involves providing person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the client to participate safely in community outings and activities.

· Encourage independence and social engagement in line with the client's interests and goals.

· Provide respectful and professional approach.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date support notes and communication with the team.

· Uphold all workplace health and safety and safeguarding standards.

Essential Criteria:

· Minimum 2 years' experience supporting people with disability.

· Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability or equivalent).

· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

· Working With Children Check

· Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive cover insurance

· Fluent in English and Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Compassionate, honest, and reliable nature

· Commitment to person-centred and empowering support practices.

· Australian work rights or valid work visa essential

· Working With Children Check

· First Aid & CPR Certificate

· NDIS Worker Orientation Module

· Supporting Effective Communication Module
