Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpentry Shopfitting Team Foreman to lead our skilled shopfitting team. The successful candidate will oversee carpentry and shopfitting projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards. Fluency in English, Cantonese or Mandarin is preferred to facilitate effective communication with our diverse team and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of carpenters and shopfitters to deliver projects to the highest standards.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Interpret and implement project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship to maintain high standards.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and performance.
  • Manage tools, equipment, and materials on-site to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in carpentry or shopfitting.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and shopfitting processes.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese or Mandarin (speaking and understanding) is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid trade certifications or qualifications in carpentry (preferred).
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
