The Roles

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other materials according to specifications

· Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate construction

· Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinets

· Conducting repairs and maintenance on existing wooden structures

· Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

· Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations

The Position Requires

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment. They should demonstrate:

§ A minimum of two years of experience in carpentry, including framing, finishing, and joinery

§ A relevant qualification in carpentry or a related field (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)

§ Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints

§ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

§ High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

§ Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and compliance with industry standards
