About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Carpentry Trade Assistant to join our growing team. You'll be working alongside qualified carpenters on a range of residential and commercial projects, assisting with all aspects of carpentry and general site work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified carpenters with framing, cladding, decking, and fit-out work
  • Handle materials, site preparation, and general labour tasks
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Support site supervisors and tradespeople as required
  • Load and unload materials and equipment
  • Follow site safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction or carpentry preferred
  • Basic hand and power tool knowledge
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
