Step Up and Lead HR Across Victoria
Ready to lead your own state HR portfolio with national support? We're seeking a driven, experienced HR Business Partner to own the people strategy, employee relations, and workforce planning across Victoria, while partnering with our national HR team.

About the Role
You will have a matrix reporting line to the Head of Human Resources (national) and the Victorian CEO to ensure strong operational alignment and national consistency.
You'll lead enterprise agreement negotiations, employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, and organisational change. Plus, you'll guide and mentor a local HR team and work closely with union stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Lead EA negotiations and build strong union relationships
- Provide expert advice on complex ER/IR matters and represent the organisation at Fair Work Commission, supported by our National IR Manager
- Drive workforce planning and support leaders through change
- Lead and mentor a state-based HR team delivering best-practice support
- Collaborate with national HR teams and Centres of Excellence to ensure consistent HR practices
About You
- 5+ years in senior HR or ER/IR roles in a large, unionised environment
- Proven success leading EA negotiations and managing complex ER issues, or experience as part of a team and ready to lead an EA yourself
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels
- In-depth knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments
- Experience leading teams and managing change
Bonus: Experience in health/pathology, familiarity with Health Professionals and Support Services Award, and training delivery skills.
