Job Description

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the required capabilities in the following areas:

  • Control spare parts inventory, fuel & adblue, tyres and driver PPE for a truck & trailer fleet.
  • Support NHVAS Mass & Maintenance accreditation processes.
  • Assist with Onboard Mass system troubleshooting
  • Administration of the fleet telematics system
  • Data analysis and support of Chain of Responsibility compliance
  • Identify opportunities for best practice processes and support continuous improvement culture.
  • Actively promote quality practices, systems and procedures are adhered to.
  • Create, maintain and close out SAP workorders for services/ defects/ faults/repairs.

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

Essential

  • Experience working in a heavy haulage environment
  • Knowledge of procurement principles & processes
  • A pro-active attitude, a high degree of initiative and a positive approach
  • Driver's license (light vehicle)

Desirable

  • Chain of Responsibility training
  • SAP proficiency
  • Forklift license
  • HC license or willing to obtain
