About Carlotta:
Carlotta is a distinctly Australian celebration of Mediterranean flavours and hospitality. We're channeling the generous spirit of Mediterranean dining, giving a warm and vibrant nod to the trattorias and tavernas found dotted along the European coastline. Carlotta's menu encourages shared feasting across an ever-evolving selection of antipasti, handmade pasta, and meat and seafood cooked over coals, with a custom-made wood oven from Naples taking pride of place in the kitchen.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for talented Chefs de Partie to join our team at Carlotta. Ensure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Experience as a Chef in a premium a-la-carte venue
  • Pasta and Grill section experience is advantageous
  • Mediterranean cuisine experience highly regarded
  • Strong culinary skills with an eye for detail and a passion for quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
  • Team oriented and strong communication skills
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Eye for detail and strong time management
  • Knowledge food safety standards
  • Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
