About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Gaming and Reception Team Members to join our dynamic team at the Rocky Sports Club. This is a casual position based in our club located in West Rockhampton, QLD 4700. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our gaming and reception areas.

What you'll be doing

  • Greet and welcome members and guests to the club in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist customers with gaming machines and other club services
  • Handle cash and financial transactions accurately
  • Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintain a clean and well-presented gaming and reception area
  • Comply with all relevant policies, procedures and legal requirements
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or gaming-related role, preferably in a club or hospitality environment
  • Basic familiarity with gaming machine operations is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers
  • Excellent cash handling and basic financial skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to contribute to the success of our club
  • Permanent resident status is required for this position
