About the role

We are seeking a motivated, friendly Gym Receptionist/ Cleaner to join the team at Ambitionz Health and Fitness' in North Rockhampton, QLD. This is a casual role with the possibility to become permanent. As the first point of contact for our gym members, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and inviting.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming members and customers in a warm and friendly manner
  2. Providing information about gym services, programs and membership options
  3. Handling cashier duties, such as processing payments and memberships
  4. Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the gym, including cleaning equipment, floors, and surfaces

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in the health and fitness industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
  3. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  4. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  5. A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
