AFTERSHOCK PC, Australia's leading custom gaming PC builder, is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Team Member to join our dynamic team of 10+ gaming enthusiasts in West Melbourne. If you love talking to people about gaming PCs all day and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment, this could be your perfect role.

About the Role

You'll be the voice of AfterShock PC, helping customers navigate their custom gaming PC journey through phone, email, chat, and face-to-face interactions in our showroom. This is a volume-based role where you'll handle inbound leads and guide customers through our consultative process, some decide quickly, others need time to plan their perfect build.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, chat, and in-person showroom visits
  • Guide customers through custom PC configurations and component selection
  • Handle high-volume inbound inquiries with efficiency and enthusiasm
  • Build rapport and maintain customer relationships throughout the process
  • Achieve individual and team targets during peak periods (EOFY, Christmas, back-to-school)
  • Collaborate with our medium-sized customer service team to share knowledge and best practices
  • Stay current with gaming trends and new product releases (full training provided)

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience (2-3 years preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, contact centre environments
  • Customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and patience
  • Enthusiasm for helping customers and building relationships

  • Interest in gaming and technology (we'll teach you everything about PC hardware)
  • Previous customer service or support experience
  • Experience handling high-volume customer interactions
