Development Manager – Logistics

A well-established property developer is seeking an experienced Development Manager to take ownership of large-scale logistics and strategic projects. This role will see you manage projects from concept and feasibility through to delivery and completion, ensuring they are commercially viable and delivered to the highest standard.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of nominated logistics and intermodal developments - from site identification and feasibility through to design, delivery, completion, and handover. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll ensure projects are commercially viable, align with long-term business objectives, and are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development of major logistics and infrastructure projects.
  • Undertake feasibility studies, financial modelling, and market analysis to drive investment decisions.
  • Manage planning approvals, authority negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee design development, consultant coordination, and delivery strategies.
  • Support commercial negotiations including agreements for lease and other key documents.
  • Monitor project budgets, risks, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.

Skill and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Project Management, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' industry experience with proven success delivering industrial, logistics, or large-scale development projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive project performance and financial outcomes.
  • Experience managing planning approvals, authority processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, results-focused, and collaborative with a solutions-oriented approach.
