Development Manager – Residential & Mixed-Use Projects


Melbourne | 12-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Development Manager
to join a leading, privately owned property group with a strong reputation for delivering landmark residential and mixed-use developments across Melbourne.

This role will see you take ownership across the full project lifecycle - from feasibility and design through to delivery and settlement - while working alongside a highly respected leadership team. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to city-shaping projects that make a tangible difference to communities and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full development process from acquisition through delivery.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and financial analysis.
  • Oversee consultant teams including planners, architects, and engineers.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders across construction, sales, and marketing.
  • Drive project performance, ensuring time, cost, and quality objectives are achieved.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Construction, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in property development (residential or mixed-use).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive communication style.
