Goal of Position

As the
Sales and Service Engineer
, you will be the commercial and technical face of Schaeffler. Your primary mission is to
drive aggressive sales growth and increase market share
across our industrial product and service portfolio, working strategically with our distribution partners and end-user customers. You own the territory, the results, and the reputation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Territory & Target Achievement:
    Develop and execute strategic sales programs to proactively achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets within the designated Queensland territory.
  • Expert Technical Service:
    Provide high-level engineering support, technical advice, and crucial hands-on after-sales service, including expertise in bearings, condition monitoring, and machine health solutions.
  • Strategic Account Management:
    Conduct regular performance reviews with distributors, coach their teams, and collaboratively identify new project opportunities to maximize customer coverage and engagement.
  • Drive Business Development:
    Proactively identify opportunities for the entire Schaeffler portfolio and lead B2B customer acquisition programs to expand our market penetration.
  • Data & Reporting:
    Utilize the CRM system (
    Salesforce
    ) to accurately record sales activities, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform and refine the overall business strategy.

Your Qualifications

  • Recognized
    tertiary qualifications in Engineering
    (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field).
  • A minimum of
    five (5) years of proven industrial sales experience
    with a strong track record of achieving aggressive results.
  • Demonstrated and significant technical experience within the
    rotating equipment
    field.
  • Proficiency with B2B sales strategy, account planning, and utilization of a
    CRM system (Salesforce preferred)
    and MS Office Suite.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Location & Eligibility:
This position is open to candidates residing in
Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and New Zealand.

Technical Expertise:
Candidates must have demonstrable and significant experience within the
rotating equipment
field, particularly with components such as bearings, seals, or related industrial services. Only candidates meeting all mandatory criteria will be advanced for review.
