Waste Operators Wanted:

Tropical Waste Services is currently looking for Truck Drivers. We are locally owned and operated servicing Townsville and surrounding areas.

Skills and experience required:

  • Current HR licence minimum.
  • Clean driving record.
  • A professional presentation and manner with strong customer service ethic.
  • A strong commitment to safety; and a willingness to work as part of team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safe operation of a range of vehicles, including but not limited to: Vacuum trucks/hook lifts/front lifts, delivery truck flatbed including Forklift.
  • Maintaining presentation of vehicles both inside and out.
  • Perform loading and unloading duties of commercial and industrial waste.
  • Ensure high standards of Safety compliance.

We deal with all different streams of waste (grease trap, Oily Water, Sewage, Dry Rubbish etc). A tolerance for smells is a must, if you struggle with odours this isn't the job for you.
