The RoleThis role reports directly to the Corporate Finance Manager and key responsibilities include:

• To manage timely and accurate collection of customer payments, as established within their payment terms.
• Maintain positive relationship with internal and external customers
• To ensure that customer accounts are established and maintained in a timely manner.
• Accurately allocate and match off the customer payments within the customer account daily prior to 12pm.
• Actively manage working capital and identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain the customer database within the financial system (AX)
• Ensure credit card payments from customers, which are received by the AR Officer or Customer Service team, are processed immediately and immediately released within the financial system.
• Distribute customer statements per the timelines established within the Account Receivable procedures.
• Escalate issues and risks to the Corporate Finance Manager as required
• Support the implementation and ongoing review of debtor controls, customer risk assessments and credit limits.
• Ensure any relevant sales orders are released within the credit control system prior to 12pm.
• Respond to incoming customer calls and other correspondence

About You

We're seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to play a key role in managing our end-to-end receivables process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with systems like Microsoft Dynamics AX, and is passionate about keeping processes running smoothly. You'll be working closely with our Corporate Finance Manager and wider team

• Min 3 years' experience in Account Receivable and credit management
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to interact & influence with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset
• A proactive, systems-oriented thinker who enjoys improving processes
• PC Based computer skills required- MS Office suite, Excel, order/Invoice systems. (knowledge of an established ERP system - SAP/Microsoft Dynamics desirable)
