Hamilton, Victoria, Australia South West TAFE Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year
  • Full-time 38 hours per week, Fixed-Term Contract till October 2027
  • Hamilton Campus
  • $91,124 per annum, plus superannuation

The Project Coordinator will support the Capital and Minor Works Department to deliver a number of capital and maintenance initiatives at the Hamilton Campus under a new and exciting project.

Responsibilities include project leadership, preparing comprehensive project documentation, liaising with consultants and contractors onsite, risk management, and the development and management of schedules and budgets.

To succeed in this role, you should have a sound understanding of construction processes and excellent time management and communication skills, as you'll collaborate with contractors and internal teams to deliver high quality results.

Ultimately, the Project Coordinator's duties are to ensure that all initiatives within the project are completed on time, within budget, meet high quality standards, and to assist with other capital works projects as required to ensure the same outcome.

The role is suited for applicants who have general construction and work site experience and are looking for an opportunity to step into project leadership and coordination.

Mandatory requirements

  • Bachelor in Project Management / Construction Management or other relevant degree, and previous experience managing and leading construction initiatives
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Working with Children Check and a satisfactory Police Records Check and/or ability to achieve one

Highly desirable requirements

  • A Current Victorian driver's license
