The Role
This position serves as a key financial adviser to management, delivering accurate and timely reporting, insightful analysis, and robust planning processes. Your expertise will ensure the integrity of our financial data, compliance with global accounting standards, and effective allocation of resources to support strategic objectives.

What you will enjoy doing
- Corporate Reporting & Analysis: Prepare consolidated financial reports, ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, and provide insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the South Pacific region, collaborating with leaders to align plans with strategy.
- Cost & Performance Management: Conduct cost analysis, track KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize operations and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver high-quality financial presentations for executives, boards, and global finance partners.
- Compliance & Controls: Support audits, uphold Linde's financial controls framework, and ensure SOX compliance.
- Projects & Systems: Perform financial modelling for strategic initiatives, manage corporate finance systems, and support ERP implementations.
What makes you great
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualification highly regarded).
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial gases, or similar industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with multinational and matrix organizations is desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset, detail-oriented, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, data analysis) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, IBM Analytics).
