We are seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients and providing a warm, professional welcome
  • Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
  • Processing patient billings (Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, private)
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records
  • Assisting doctors and nurses with administrative tasks
  • General office duties including scanning, filing, and data entry

About You:

  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role preferred
  • Knowledge of Medical Director or similar medical software (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A caring and professional attitude towards patients

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $31.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
